Stepping into the 320-foot diameter, gleaming silver cylindrical World of Motion pavilion at EPCOT Center is like being whisked away on a joyous adventure through the ages! This beloved attraction masterfully blended Audio-Animatronics, captivating films, and lighthearted humour that brought to life the incredible story of transportation, showcasing a diverse range of modes, from the earliest days of walking to the thrills of flight, from steam trains to cosmic travel.
As guests glided through 22 vibrant and lively scenes, each one featuring whimsical cavemen, ancient chariots, mythical sea serpents, and cheeky traffic jams, they were immersed in a world of imaginative charm and storytelling magic. From a comical glimpse of the world’s first used cart lot to Da Vinci's visionary flying machines, World of Motion reminded us that the adventure along the way makes the story worth telling. The final scene offered a shimmering glimpse of what lies ahead, wrapped in the unforgettable tune of “It’s Fun to Be Free”—a fitting end to a ride filled with wonder and whimsy.
